Thanks for visiting!
June 24th, 2009My site is finally up, and whatever led you here I’m grateful for the visit. Why? I’m a filmmaker and finally having a site allows me to humbly offer my take on film and filmmaking without having to shout over other people in the room. You can find some clips here from my two feature films — HAIKU TUNNEL and THE BEST THIEF IN THE WORLD — if you haven’t seen them already, along with some descriptions of what I was after with each scene. Both films started at the Sundance Film Festival, got distributed, should be rentable, and I’m pretty proud of them both. You can also find clips from short form work, live theatrical events, and other random things I’ve made on this site. Click around, check it out, and drop me an e-mail and let me know what you think. I can be reached at jacob@jacobkornbluth.com. I’m also going to post a musings / blog section that deals with ideas and works in progress as soon as possible, but I’ve proven to be no natural tech wizard, so be patient!
What else? You can find a test clip from my next film, LOVE AND TAXES, on this site. I’m currently working on a whole mess ‘o’ stuff, including a series of shorts called JUNIOR HIGH FILMS, a PSA for the San Francisco Public Library, and putting the finishing touches on a screenplay-for-hire that I’m pretty excited about. I’ll try to get this stuff up on the site as quickly as I can figure out how, so check back soon and have a great day!
